| About Me & My Services: Hello! My name is Karen of Karenality Graphics. I have been in the business of graphic arts and printing for over 20 years. The trade and business that I am is an art skill inherited from both sides of my family. My cousin is a typographer and graphic artist. My grandparents owned A & E Printing Co. that was based out of North St. Louis County. I achieved a Trades & Industrial Certificate and Completion Certificate from North County Technical Schol in 1984 in Offset Lithography and Graphic Arts. I graduated in 2005 with my Associates Degree in Web Design from ITT Technical School. I have knowledge of color separations, logo design, tyhpography, print media and newspaper publications. I also have website design and experience. I am fluent in Java, JavaScript, cgi/perl script languages, CSS, asp and database development. FORMATS: Usually when I create custom graphics and logos I use .jpg, .gif or .png format. (for transparent
background or simple animations). I try to refrain from .tiff and .bmp formats for reasons being the images don't
optimize well for use on the web.
SOFTWARE: The software I use at home on my own computer include JASC/Corel's Paint Shop Pro, Animation
Shop, Microsoft Word, Office/Publisher, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Image Ready, Macromedia's Dreamweaver,
Flash, Arachnophilia.
The software I have extensive knowledge on include QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator, PageMaker, Multi-Ad Creator,
FrontPage and InDesign.
COMPUTERS: I have experience with most of these software programs on both Operating System platforms, Mac
and Windows and vice-versa. I am well adverse when it comes to computers and softwar programs and have
learned that they are all basically the same. I also have experience with RedHat Linux.
